About LivingInFotos
LivingInFotos is a visual diary of slow, intentional living. A space where travel, wellness and real life meet, including the reality of navigating chronic illness without giving up ambition, beauty or adventure. Because life doesn’t have to be perfect to still feel full. I don’t believe you have to give up ambition, beauty or adventure because your body requires more care. This space is about building a life that works for you, not the version of life you feel pressured to keep up with.
Whether you’re here for inspiration, connection, or just curiosity, welcome, you’re in the right place.
Who is Jomilsa?
Just a woman figuring it all out - healing her body, chasing her ambitions and sharing the messy, beautiful journey along the way.
Born in Portugal, with roots in the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe, and raised in the multicultural streets of East London, my identity has always been layered.
That blend of cultures shaped how I see the world: grounded in tradition, but open to possibility.

A Little More About Me
- I’ll always say yes to a solo trip and a spontaneous getaway - there’s something powerful about exploring the world on your own terms.
- My playlists are chaotic in the best way; from Kizomba to Garage, R&B, Afrobeats etc. You name it, its on my playlist
- Slow Sunday mornings, coffee in hand, nowhere to be; that’s my kind of luxury.
- Navigating chronic illness has taught me to live softer, slower, and with more intention.
- My camera roll is 90% sunsets.
- I’m learning that slowing down doesn’t mean falling behind - it means choosing a life that actually feels good.
